[Please describe this bug in as much detail as possible so we can replicate & debug this bug]

Hi, after translating a page with WPML, the translated page is empty. I must be missing something here?

New install, all on latest versions. Created the site first, installed WPML after the build.

Hi Antal,
Thanks so much for your report, and welcome to the forum!

Would you be so kind as to send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase?

Best regards,
timmse

Hi Timmse, email sent. Credentials can be viewed only once.

Hello Timmse,
Just checking in, did you receive the login data? There was no login with the account yet?

Hi Antal,
Yep, the email has arrived. One of our developers will take a look as soon as possible

Hi @Antal,

I can’t tell for sure what happened but we received similar reports lately.

But each time I’m able to log in, create a new page, and translate it (the translated page not being blank). So it’s still unclear why the translation was not created the very first time sometimes.

For example, to resolve the issue on your page I just had to press “update” on the post and then updated the translations:

I’m gonna leave this report as “WAIT” in case someone else can provide insights on how we can reliably replicate the issue that leads to this

Let me know if it’s working on your site as expected now.

Thanks Charaf.
This workaround works.

  • Translate
  • Update page
  • Update translation(s)
  • Resaving permalinks
  • Rebuild CSS in Bricks

I have the exact same problem (1.9.7.1), saving the original and reconfirming the translation also work for me.

Same here(1.9.7.1). The method works for me too.

Same here, and the workaround works. Bricks 1.10.1

Just started a translation on a new site.
Again the White screen. Workaround does not work. What to do?

I have hard time with WPML and Bricks as well, it’s so hard to synchronise between the main language Bricks data and push it to all the other languages…

A quick button to do so would be so helpful, so we can push the Bricks template / page from the main language to all other languages

We have a fix that should be included in the next release if everything goes according to plan.

Will it also solve issues with WPML synchronisation between Bricks template / pages in all languages?

Assuming you mean synchronizing after re-translating the page: yes it should fix that too.

I mean when editing the main language Bricks page / data, and then I want to propagate those changes into my other translated page.

Because I want 1 source of Bricks data to be the same across all pages / translates pages.

And I’m struggling always to propagate the changes even with all the “workaround” provided

Yes, following this fix, all you’ll need to do is re-translate the page/post, and the changes should be propagated to the translated version. No workaround will be necessary. However, if you’re still facing issues after the fix is released, it might be a different issue that I’m not fully understanding. In that case, it would be best if you could create a new report with replicable steps and, preferably, a screen recording.

Is it possible to receive the fix before the next version is coming, so I can try and let you know?

Thanks!

Yes get in touch at help@bricksbuilder.io with a link to this forum thread and I’ll upload the potential fix to your site for testing

Nice, I just sent and email
