Hello, got same problem. Pages and templates are blank⦠The steps provided by charaf work well.
Hi guys,
Weāve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.11 BETA, now available as a manual download (Bricks ā Account)
Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
You can see the full changelog here: Bricks 1.11 Changelog ā Bricks
As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.
Best regards,
Matej
Iām having an issue with WPML. I originally had two different designs for two languages (FR and ES), each with its own Bricks data saved separately.
Now I want the ES page to use the FR template.
I edited the ES page in Bricks, deleted all content, saved, and then followed everything described here: https://academy.bricksbuilder.io/article/how-to-use-wpml-with-bricks/#sync-bricks-data.
However, even after saving in the backend, clearing the cache multiple times, and trying different workflows, the FR (default language) template still isnāt propagating to the ES page.
When I edit the ES page with Bricks after all of that, I can see the FR content in the Structure panel. Should I save the ES page in Bricks at that point?
Will future changes to the FR page sync automatically if we run the sync process afterward?
Any ideas why in this first place the sync is not working?
Hi @Adrien,
Iām unable to reproduce the issue youāre describing, and it doesnāt appear to be directly related to this bug report from over a year ago. To assist you further, could you either share temporary admin access to help@brickbuilder.io, or if youāre able to replicate the issue on a minimal setup with only Bricks and WPML enabled, please share a screencast demonstrating the steps to reproduce the problem, itās possible I may have missed something (best to do it under a new thread).
Hi Charaf,
What we needed to do to sort of find a āworkaroundā was to delete bricks content in the translated page and save, then doing 2 times all the WPML / Bricks synchronisation steps, and finally opening once again the translated page with Bricks and then we would see in the structure panel all the elements of the default Bricks page, and thus we saved the translated page with Bricks, and then the synchronisation was working once again, but itās a lot of steps and the page is blank for quite some time before we were able to fix it again, so definitely something to improve in the Bricks side.
Hi @Adrien,
Glad to hear you found a workaround. Unfortunately, Iām still unable to replicate the issue on my end. If youāre able to identify replicable steps to reproduce the issue, please let us know.
