This happens on the try.bricksbuilder.io site as well. Hope you guys can fix this soon

possible workaround: manually creating a theme style before importing one helps prevent this issue!

Hi karthik,

The issue has already been reported a couple of weeks ago and will be fixed soon

Yes it has been and thanks a bunch team Bricks

this issue need fix, i got this problem too, bricks v1.5.7

Hi Akun,
I cannot reproduce the issue using Bricks 1.6beta.
Are you sure you’ve added a condition to your theme styles?

Best regards,
timmse

problem solved, i do not know why,

i just refresh browser and closed browser, next day theme styles save work normal

thx

I’m having this same issue now with bricks 1.11.1.1 & also 1.12.3
I’m using Core Framework, but Brixies is also installed and it just keeps defaulting to “Brixies theme CF” when I want to change it to “Core Framework”.

If I change it to Core Framework and then make changes to the settings (e.g. update HTML font size to 100%) the changes stick under Core Framework, but the theme selection dropdown reverts back to Brixies, it simply won’t save that.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Check next answer, this is not a bug

Hi @jimmy9000,

Thank you so much for a report. I was able to replicate it locally, and I’ve added it to our task.

Sadly, I don’t have a workaround for now.

Best regards,
Matej

Hey @jimmy9000,

it looks like I had a brain freeze when I was answering… It’s not a bug, but an expected behaviour.

While the theme style will load, when you switch it, you have to set a condition, to be applied after page save.

You can check this answer from @timmse, but just set a condition to only pages you want.

Thank you, and sorry for confusion.
Matej

Hi Matej,

Thank you and my apologies, user error here. I found that all the other theme options all had conditions to apply to the entire website, so they were competing with each other. As soon as I removed the conditions from the other theme options, Core Framework and it’s entire site condition was successfully applied. How embarrassing! There were too many cooks in the kitchen on my end!

Thanks

Hi @jimmy9000,

no worries. I’m glad that it works now

Best regards,
Matej
