SOLVED: Indexing problem in product filters, when switching between languages using WPML

This is a new thread as indicated in SOLVED: Filtering broken with new update (WPML) by @charaf .
The only way to make the product filters get correctly indexed in the second language of the site is to change it from the admin bar WPML select and then regenerate filter index. But when I do that, then the default language filtering doesn’t have indexing. And the other way around of course. I can’t find a way to make it work for both languages no matter what. Also, in between edits of the product catalogue template there are times when the filters are correctly indexed in both languages. It seems so random and I can’t understand whether I am missing something in the correct procedure or not.

Hi @nassukesso ,

Thanks for reporting the issue.

We are aware of the bug when using query filters + multilanguage plugins like Polylang or WPML.

It’s already in our bug tracker and we are working on it.
