Infinite Scroll or Scroll Limit in WooCommerce Product Gallery Thumbnails Slider

Hi!

I have an issue with the WooCommerce product gallery regarding the slider when navigating in the thumbnail images. Specifically, when scrolling through thumbnails on a desktop, it becomes impossible to scroll back up to the initial product image once the last thumbnail is reached.

Element: Woocomerce Product Gallery

Options: Thumbnails with Slider on (w/o arrows)

Issue: When I scroll down in the thumbnails on desktop, there is no way to scroll back up to revert to the first product image, for example.

Question: Is there a way to implement an infinite scroll (so that the first image appears right after the last one in the slider) or to simply stop the scroll before reaching the dead end?

Hi Jolia,
I have discussed the issue with the team. We will try to adjust the scroll behavior on the vertical slider. Probably this is a flexslider problem (the js library that WooCommerce uses for its slider).

Implementing responsive settings for the thumbnail direction might be possible but tricky, as it’s about initializing and destroying the flexslider when the breakpoints change. We’ll take a look at this as well.

Please fix it, or give us an option for the same approach using nestable slider in vertical direction. Thank you!
