WIP: Two bugs in the offcanvas element

Browser: Chrome 130.0.6723.59
OS: Windows

Hi @Matej,

Two bugs in the offcanvas element that are still present in the official version 1.11.

1- If the website is RTL and the offset effect is enabled in offcanvas and the Direction is set to right, the offset mode will not work at all and the offcanvas will open normally.

2- If the offset effect is enabled, browser overflow will occur in Android browsers. This Only happens in mobile browsers. Please note that this bug occurs in the following two scenarios, both in RTL and RTL.

in RTL: Only occurs if offcanvas direction is set to right.
in LTR: Only occurs if offcanvas direction is set to left.

Thanks

Hi @HOSEIN,

Hmm, I’ve just tested this, and it’s working for me, with a setup like this and RTL language, the offset effect is working.

You are right about this, the task is still in progress. I’ll also link this topic to the task.

Matej.

Hi Matej,

According to your screenshot yes, it works. But if you set the direction to right, it won’t work.

Hi, sorry for not right screenshot. I was testing all options, including “Right”

As you can see, the content is pushed to the left (usually the “Header” is in the center of the screen).

So, I’m not sure what is the difference between this and you setup

Matej

thank you Matej,

It’s strange, I will find the problem in a few minutes.

It works as expected for me on the desktop. But in Chrome browser - Android, it doesn’t work at all. I have not tested other browsers such as Safari etc.
Please watch the video. In fact, it is quite similar to the second bug. with the difference that it does not push the content of the page.

Hmm, nice catch.
It’s most likely connected to the second bug, so I’ll add it to the report. Thank you!
