I have recently noticed that the query sort filter to filter out taxonomies is not working. I have 2 client sites that are using the taxonomy filter as radio button elements. Previously it was working but with the latest v2.1.4 it doesn’t. On the frontend it shows no taxonomies. In the builder it does show the taxonomy only after updating the filter index. I have tried regenerating the filter index, deactivated all plugins and mu-plugins and it still doesn’t seem to work. Please do look into this.

I saw an email sent to us 3days ago, but we already replied and requested him/her for license verification. So far no response from the sender yet.

Hey @itchycode, I just spoke to the client, and he said he was previously lying about sending the support request. He was waiting for the bug to magically fix itself, and he said he is not going to report anything because “it takes too much effort”. Well, looks like he will just have to wait for the magic to “happen by itself” if he doesn’t want to cooperate.
Hi Bricks Team - Just checking in here. We also discovered this bug with taxonomy filters in v2.1.4 and how to downgrade back to 2.1.3. In our case, these are not radio buttons but select dropdowns. Happy to create a separate thread if you like, but I’m sure the underlying issue is related.
I looked through the changelogs for the upcoming 2.2 release but it didn’t appear this was addressed yet- just wanted to confirm it’s still WIP? Thanks!
I just tried if my filters work, and they do. I am using the dropdown too.

What is your query settings? I had some bad time with it, because it wasn’t displaying all products. Which helped to me, was to just enable query and do not set anything (use the main query which you set template for like archive page etc.).

Yes it’s likely very dependent on how and where you need to use them. Our current use case is a bit more complex as there is a query loop that pulls in 3 different types of posts together (regular posts + 2 custom post types). We then have 3 taxonomy filters setup- one which filters by post type, while the other two filter by custom taxonomies. After updating to v2.14, none of the select elements were populating at all, so we rolled it back.
Not a big deal for us, I was just curious about progress on the issue. I can upload screenshots of all the settings later today if you’re interested.

And it was solved in 2.2-beta (Bricks 2.2-beta Changelog – Bricks)
