I just noticed that the issue is caused by DISABLE GOOGLE FONTS option. When I disable it, that local font works wrong. If I enable it, the fonts load perfect. Watch this:
It has nothing to do with the translation (and also not with deactivating the google fonts), but as already said with the font file.
Please download the encode sans package from https://webfontloader.altmann.de/ and use the file from the “latin” folder. I would bet that you will have no more problems.
