WAIT: Custom Font uploads are redundant when using variable fonts

I’m trying to upload Mona Sans into the Bricks Builder environment, and though a single file, Mona-Sans.woff2 has ALL the weights, they won’t show up in the editor unless I specify them one by one, causing redundant references to a single file…

As far as I can see, the only font-file you must upload is this one:

Then, you can use the font variation settings to add the width or weight to it, and you’ll have only one font request.
