SOLVED: WooCommerce (9.4.1) outdated template files

Browser: Chrome 131.0.6778.70, FireFox Developer 133.0b7 (64-bit)
OS: macOS 15.1
WordPress: 6.7
WooCommerce: 9.4.1
PHP: 8.3.x
Bricks: 1.11.1

Hi,
After update WordPress (6.7) and WooCommerce (9.4.1) to latest version I got an alert:

Your theme (Bricks) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.

Notice from Bricks: But don't worry. Bricks regularly updates all WooCommerce template files with each new release. If you are on the latest version and see this message, any necessary compatibility enhancements will be included in the next update.

I check in WooCommerce / Status / System Status / Templates I got error message:

bricks/woocommerce/checkout/form-checkout.php version 3.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 9.4.0

My screenshots:

Please check.
Thanks

I would suggest to incorporate notice to bricks changelog or admin notice that Bricks is compatible with woocommerce up to (version). As it seems this happens a lot. It should inform users before updating woocommerce that it may not have up to date template files so they should wait for another bricks release. Or maybe you already have something in WIP :smirk:

Well, it’s still compatible. In 9/10 cases, the changes to the Woo templates have no effect on existing pages. In this case, Woo has only added an aria label, leading to the notice

Woo rarely changes significant things that lead to problems. And if it does, you can still easily switch back to the previous Woo version.

Hi guys,
We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.11.1.1, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.

Changelog: Bricks 1.11.1.1 Changelog – Bricks

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

Thanks to you and the Bricks team for this.

Thanks

That’s a great suggestion!

Hi,
I think you should include this idea in Bricks Idea Board. And expand it to include other important dependencies, WooCommerce for now. This idea also keeps Bricks from complaining about dependent libraries/plugins in their updates.
Thanks
