Why does the video light box go full screen even if I have my settings set to 70%

Hey @MartinW,

thanks for your report. We are aware of this issue. It will be fixed in version 1.8.

Kind regards,

André

Hi Martin,

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.8 beta, now available as a manual download in your account.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on any production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local/staging environment.

Best regards,
timmse

For me, video still goes full screen even after upgrading to 1.8 beta - see here

Hey Martin,
have you set a width/height (px) in your Theme Styles » General » Lightbox?

Yes, it is set see here and I have also tested it without cashing Plugin or CDN, and it’s still giving me the full screen video.

Working with pixels does work, but it’s limited in terms of size for different screen resolutions. The way it was done before with percentage was just beautiful. I’m not sure why you guys are removing it. You can see my struggle here

Hey Martin,
I am currently waiting for feedback from the developers. I can confirm that it worked with % in previous versions.

I’ll get back to you as soon as I can say something concrete

Hello Martin, I’m Shamim. you know me (Fiverr).
Theme Styles » General » Lightbox
He is right if you go here and add width to 70% then the video will not show full width. Don’t forget to clear the cache after work

@shamim not in my case as demonstrated by my video above. If I set it to 75% it goes full screen. The only way I can make it smaller, it to set the pixel size.

Okay. Do as you like.
But % work on my website.
Thank you.

Beta version has bug in vidde lightbox. plz fix bug.
Video.

Hi guys,

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.8 beta 2, now available as a manual download in your account.
Supported units: px, %, vw, vh

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

As with any beta release, please do not use it on any production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local/staging environment.

I’m just testing it with these settings and there is what I’m getting on this page

Yep, now the width is 100% and the height is exactly 720px :+1:
You should specify either the width or the height. Then it will work as expected.

Both in parallel doesn’t make any sense, because the video itself will keep its ratio either way.

Hm, whether I set one value the other or both of them, I’m still getting mixed results. See here.

Hi Martin,
Currently, 1.8 Beta 2 does not seem to be installed:

/*
Theme Name: Bricks
...
Version: 1.8-beta
...
*/

Hi. With beta2 I’m running into the same issues see here

You are still running 1.8beta:
https://welpix.com/wp-content/themes/bricks/style.css

If it was 1.8 beta2, the version would show like this:
Version: 1.8-beta2

Please have a look how the videos are displayed on this page with the default settings on beta 2
