SOLVED: Status: no license

Browser: Chrome 110
OS: Windows
URL: NA
Video: NA

While editing pages or templates I regularly get redirected to licence page with the “Status:
no license”. If I then deactivate the licence and reactivate it works again. On my bricks account page I will still see status active.

Hi Mike,

@mikevansighem Thank you so much for the login details. The issue was on our license server. Should be working now. If you encounter this issue again, please let me know here in the forum or via email.

Hi guys,
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have already informed Thomas.
We’ll let you know as soon as we have any news :v:

I’ve tried again and it seems to have worked.

Hi,
Same problem here on multiple sites with an Ultimate license. Bricks version 1.10.3

We’ve identified that some license keys aren’t activating correctly due to a firewall issue on our hosting provider’s end, which we have not been informed about :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This issue blocks specific valid IPs, preventing the license check from validating.

We’re working closely with them to resolve this and ensure everything returns to normal as soon as possible.

I’ll be sure to share any news on this subject with you here.

We appreciate the patience of all affected users while we get this resolved.

Thank you @thomas. So to confirm, we are still in this state correct? I am seeing this behavior, however, this post shows as ‘SOLVED’ so it may be a bit confusing. Might I suggest a new post indicating this is still ongoing or ‘adjust’ this one to be WIP?

Thank you,

Lyle

Do we have any ETA on this? I have a couple sites that the key isn’t working alltogether, so I can’t do any work on them.

Thank you

Any update? This is locked out about 10 of my sites from being edited.

+1, having the same issue
Please fix this!

same problem here. Tried to reactivated my license but got the error: Keine Lizenz für angegebenen Lizenzschlüssel gefunden.

We received confirmation from our host that they further tweaked their firewall so that those IP blocks should no longer occur.

I was also able to activate all the license keys on customer sites that contacted us via email that I wasn’t able to activate yesterday.

As far as we can tell the issue seems to be resolved and I’ll mark this thread as such.

But please let me know in case you still experience any license key activation issues on any of your sites, after deactivating and re-activating the key.

We’ll take any necessary steps to ensure such a hosting-related licensing issue won’t occur again.

Hi @thomas,

It seems like I’m still having an issue with that, for a website hosted on OVH cloud. I tried deactivating and re-activating the licence, but always get the “No license for provided license key found.” message.

Should I send you an email with more details ?

Thanks

Just to add my +1 to this.

I have 2 sites affected by this, one is ok. There are more that I haven’t checked yet.
I random check some of the local ones, these are ok.
