SOLVED: Reading Time: wrong calculation with persian

Browser: Chrome 128.0.6613.85
OS: Windows

Hi bricks team,

After updating to version 1.10, the Reading Time element still does not work inside the query loop.

Hi Hosein,
Thanks so much for your report!

What exactly is not working for you, and how can we reproduce it?

Best regards,
timmse

Hi timmse, nice to see you here.

I checked this more and it seems that the reading time element does not consider Persian phrases.

thanks

Aaah, Persian! That is of course the crucial hint
We had the same problem with Chinese and will see how we can solve this in the most flexible way.

Hi guys,

We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.11 BETA, now available as a manual download (Bricks – Account)

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

You can see the full changelog here: Bricks 1.11 Changelog – Bricks

As with any beta release, please do not use it on a production/live website. It is only meant for testing in a local or staging environment.

Best regards,
Matej
