SOLVED: Keyboard access to submenu doesn't work

Browser: Brave 1.52.122, Chromium: 114.0.5735.110
OS: macOS Ventura 13.4
URL: https://blueprint.riderworks.dev

I’m using WordPress Navigation. I can hover over the “About” page to display the Sub Menu. Using the keyboard, I can access the Sub Menu “downarrow”, but it doesn’t allow me to display the actual Sub Menu using the keyboard.

With Bricks 1.8, I could Tab from the “downarrow” to display the Sub Menu. I re-installed the v1.8.1 from my account and still can’t access the Sub Menu from the keyboard.

Hey Doug,

thanks for your report.

I can navigate through your menu using the keyboard without issues: Video uploaded to CleanShot Cloud. Am I misunderstanding your report or did you change anything in the meantime?

Best,

André

Hi Andre, I should have tested all my browsers. It seems that the only browsers that work differently from Bricks 1.8 to 1.8.1 are Safari and Brave (both have latest updates). Chrome, Edge, Opera, Polypane, and Blisk work as expected. Firefox and Vivaldi seem to have their own “unique” issues.

https://angelarider.com is running on Bricks 1.8 and works correctly with keyboard access on Brave and Safari.

Hey Doug,

thanks for the clarification.

I was able to reproduce the issue and added it to our bug tracker.

Best,

André

I updated to Bricks 1.8.2 The downarrow navigation via keyboard still does not work with Brave and Safari.

Hi Doug,
We’ve fixed this issue in Bricks 1.8.4, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

Best regards,
