SOLVED: Fluent Forms plugin breaks builder

Bricks Version: 1.4.0.1/1.5 beta

When a Fluent Forms shortcode is added to a template or page, the builder shows a white screen when the template or page is reopened.

The front end is not broken, it shows the form which was inserted using the shortcode. When Fluent Forms plugin is deactivated, the builder loads as expected.

See screencast: 04/07/2022, 20:02:17.webm.

Is this a known issue and can this be fixed?

Regards,
Ariska

Looks like you have a ton of plugins there, perhaps one of them are interfering there too rather than Bricks alone? I hadn’t noticed that behaviour myself so that’s why I’m wondering, as it seemed you had a ton of plugins from the video there. May want to try temporarily disabling them all except Fluent Forms and see if the behaviour is still there, or seeing if you can reproduce on the Bricks Try site instead: https://try.bricksbuilder.io

Thanks for your reply. I had disabled all plugins and one by one enabled them to find out which plugin was causing the problem. It turned out to be Fluent Forms. With my previous theme I didn’t encounter any problems with Fluent Forms, that’s why I think it is the combination with Bricks.

I tried your suggestion to use Bricks Try website, but I can’t install plugins there. What I can do is creating an empty Wordpress install and only install Bricks and Fluent Forms there, see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestion, I will post the results once I have done the test.

It turned out that the combination of Fluent Forms and Asset Cleanup was causing the issue. The issue with Asset Cleanup is already discussed here: SOLVED: Asset CleanUp Pro: Page Speed Booster - Blocks editor from loading.
