SOLVED: Cross-Site Copy/Paste Doesn't Copy Pseudo CSS

Bricks Version: 1.5.3
Browser: MS Edge Version 105.0.1343.42 (Official build) (64-bit)
OS: Windows 10 Home
URL: (Don’t have a public URL available)

If you copy/paste from another site, CSS from pseudo selectors is not copied over. All CSS for other elements was copy/pasted successfully, but CSS for :before, :after did not get carried over.

In my case, it was the CSS for :after that wasn’t copied over.

Source element:
image

Pasted element:
image

Note: I added :after to the pseudo selectors for that element and then used “Copy Styles” on the source, and pasted styles on the destination element and the styles were restored.

Can we get :after as a standard pseudo selector?

Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for your report!

The issue has already been reported via email.
Regarding :after, I’ll talk to the team - if, we should add :before as well

Hello @timmse, I hate to revive old dead topics, but I’m trying to understand if this has been implemented or it’s still in progress/planning. I’m quite interested into the images part mentioned here

Hi Rob,
It’s perfectly fine for you to ask about such an old thread. Unfortunately, it is still on our todo list and has not yet been fixed. The “images part” is also part of the task, so unfortunately, there is no news about it.

Hey, thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it big time!

Hi guys,
We fixed this issue in Bricks 1.12.2, now available as a one-click update in your WordPress Dashboard.

Changelog: Bricks 1.12.2 Changelog – Bricks

Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.
