Not sure if this is a bug or an improvement… If the Interaction panel is open, clicking on elements in the Structure panel does not open the Context menu, but only displays two specific options that have been added in the new version.
If you agree, this only makes the workflow more difficult. For example, if we want to create a component in this situation or, for example, set a wrapper for the current element or any other element in the structure panel, we must first close the interaction panel to be allowed to do so.
While the Interactions panel is open, right-clicking an element in the Structure panel switches to the ID-copy menu so you can select an interaction target without leaving the element currently being edited. Previously, right-clicking on the other element would force the interaction settings panel to close.
I will discuss with the team if we should reveal other options at the same time.
We’ll adjust the behavior so the full right-click menu remains available while the Interactions panel is open.
A new Copy CSS ID button beside the CSS selector field activates a dedicated copy mode. You can then right-click an element in the canvas or Structure panel and copy its CSS ID without leaving the interaction you’re editing.
Copy mode ends after copying, or you can press `ESC` to cancel.
