How do I create a slideout behavior when the mobile menu is activate and there are several nested categories in the menu?
I’m going to use the J Crew mobile menu as an example of the behavior I’m looking for. These images show each screen, and each submenu item has a back button that lets you navigate to the previous screen.
That´s exactly what I´m looking for, too. I haven´t found a solid solution for that yet.
There´s a solution for something like that on Fancybricks (https://fancybricks.co/templates/02-mega-menu/). However… I´ve tested it and even though it works it´s still not great. It´s sometimes very fiddly with the “back” button, depending on the content in the sub-menu. It does work but to me it doesn´t feel as robust as other solutions I know from Crocoblock for example which was used on this site for example: https://www.ferienwohnungen-glowe.com/
However, that Crocoblock menu is very limited in general when it comes to custimization. And I know there are some “solutions” for Bricks by other users but they use tons of Javascript and I´m never sure how good it works in the long run with updates and all that.
I´d love to have the option to create multi-level-menus for mobile in Bricks by default! Maybe @timmse can help with this? Or shall we put that on the ideas board? It´s something that has been used a lot by my old company but we always had to use the Crocoblock mobile menu cause we didn´t have a different and better solution.
The Bricks mega menu is already great but imo the mobile menu definitely needs an option for multi-level, too!
Edit: @dapan I´d maybe change the title to something with “Multi-Level” cause that´s probably a bit more descriptive
