Hello Everyone,
I am using Bricks for like 3-4 months now and I am enjoying it most of the time.
I have a question and maybe if you can share your workflow it would help me.
In short: I am missing a class editor. Let me explain.
When I decide to not style an element individually but throuch a custom class because there will be more of that element I do this: I create a class by entering a custom text in the class name panel and it creates that class for me. (If I mistype then I can rename it there or if I want to delete it I have to go to the Styles Manager panel / Classes section).
But if I want to edit the actual css properties of a class I cannot find them in the Classes section of the Styles Manager. So instead of finding it and editing them I apply this class to any random element in the builder to make its properties visible in the visual editor and there I can edit the properties. It is not straightforward at all. I sometimes even create multiple classes for blocks, elements, variations (BEM-style) and it would be very nice if I can see these classes in one place and click through them to see their properties, differences, etc.
How do you guys manage these situations?
What I dream of is a section of the Classes panel (where I can now rename, delete, categorize and duplicate a class ) where we can also edit the class properties in a css editor or maybe in a property:value pairs or anyhow. I attach a screenshot what I mean:
Then if I edit a class there it would be reflected in the builder editor as well. If there is a property that cannot be paired to the visual editor it would be written in the custom css textbox there.
Do you have any ideas or workflow to manage classes better? I sometimes even want to know if a class is still used or is it obsolete.
Thank you for reading and commenting!
