DUPLICATE: Bricks 2.4.1 bug in the media manager?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using Bricks Builder 2.4.1 together with HappyFiles Pro 1.9.1 by Thomas. I use HappyFiles to organize my media library and have created a folder structure for my images.

I’m having the following issue:

When I try to add an image to my website using the Bricks Image element, selecting an image from a specific HappyFiles folder may work the first time.

However, when I then try to select another image from a different folder, the Media Manager shows the correct number of images in that folder, but no images are actually displayed.

So, for example, the folder might show that it contains several images, but the content area remains completely empty and I can’t select any of them.

Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows what might be causing this?

I’ve attached a screenshot showing the problem.

Thanks for the report. This matches the HappyFiles Media Browser issue being tracked here: WIP: Bricks 2.4.1 - new media folder cant see the SVGs .

For a simple workaround, please follow this forum post and choose either one or the other:

Hey @simplecreative, a very simple workaround is this, meaning you can open HappyFiles and just click on “All Media”, then it will work: Another solution, which might be even better, is to set “Default folder” to “All Files” inside the HappyFiles settings: [CleanShot 2026-09-24 at 08.07.33@2x] But if you want a .zip file with a fix, I can provide it via email, just please write to us and include this forum topic link.
