I’m setting up my Bricks site and will be using a couple of custom fonts for the body and heading text. I can’t see any way of defining fallback fonts in the theme so do I need to declare the custom fonts in the style sheet (rather than the theme) using @font-face and then declare for body and the headings what the font-families are? Is there another way of doing this in Bricks?
Does any one bother with fallback font families for custom fonts?
But that’s the problem, it’s the internet and strange things do happen!
I can set fallback fonts in the custom style sheet but cannot set the display properties of the fallback font to make it match as closely as possible the custom font to avoid possible design issues (e.g. letter and word spacing).
I saw that someone has raised this on the ideaboard so gave it an upvote.
