What Breakpoints do people use?

I’ve been using the default breakpoint, which can vary between around 1280 to 1600 (depends on my browser window), to build my sites. I also modify everything to work with smaller breakpoints, 991, 767,478, and 360. My PC monitor display is 3440x1440, and everything looks good to me. However, I recently looked at a 3840px iMac emulator and realised my beautiful websites were tiny in the middle, yet it is only 400px different from my own display.
