I noticed on the roadmap that this is currently in progress. I had used this before and just had some questions about the integration:

When I have used WP Compress before, it could not pick up background images or images inside sliders, etc. (when using Elementor) for its WebP & CDN capabilities. Will this be correctly integrated with Bricks?

The plugin provides a CDN that can also optimize and serve your JS & CSS. Will it is compatible with this, too, i.e., I found it used to break my sites (Not sure if it was how Elementor delivers its CSS & JS? or if WP Compress was poor at optimising and serving it)?
Also, I noticed users did not request this, but it made it through to the progress stage. Is it because this is tying in with the other planned features, i.e., Asset loading and & background image lazy loading?
