Hi,
Thanks so much for your report!

I can replicate the problem and have added it to the internal bug tracker. We will update this thread as soon as it is fixed.

Best regards,
timmse

I’ll take this opportunity to add a feature to this widget. It allows you to activate next and previous icons and choose between different pagination types… dots, numbers, images, etc.

Just to add to this, maybe it helps. In Bricks 2.0.1 (cascade layer active) bricks lightbox had similar bug, but Woo product lightbox was fine. Bricks 2.0.2, the bricks lightbox works but Woo product lightbox has a bug.

Hello @timmse

Hello Bricks Team,

I recently started using Bricks and ran into a critical issue:

When Cascade Layer is enabled, the WooCommerce default lightbox (PhotoSwipe) does not render correctly.

  1. The inline styles (width, height, transform) generated by PhotoSwipe JS are miscalculated.
  2. As a result, images are not centered or scaled properly.
  3. With Cascade Layer disabled, the exact same HTML & inline styles display perfectly.

This is a very simple scenario, yet it cost me over 6 hours of debugging as a new Bricks user.

For now, I can only solve the issue by keeping Cascade Layer disabled, but this is not a long-term solution.
I’m concerned that future updates may cause more problems if Cascade Layer remains broken in this context.

Could you please:

  1. Confirm that this is a known bug and provide a timeline for a fix.
  2. Notify me once this issue has been addressed, so I can safely re-enable Cascade Layer.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards

Hi @SPlusWeb and welcome to the forum .

Because you commented on this topic, I assume you have the same issue. (WooCommerce Gallery inside the quick view popup does not work).

As you can see in the title, we added WIP prefix, which means Work In Progress. Basically, this means that we were able to replicate the issue and we’ve logged it inside our internal bug tracker.

We have other prefixes as well:
WAIT: We can not yet replicate the issue and are waiting for more user info.
NO BUG: It’s not a bug in Bricks / not something that we can control
DUPLICATE: The same issue was already reported. In this case we linked to the original topic and closed the duplicated one.
SOLVED/IMPLEMENTED: The issue was fixed and released.

That’s the way to go now. That’s why we added the switch, so you are able to turn cascade layers off.

With every update we improve the cascade layers compatibility, so we expect less and less issues in the future.

  1. Yes, this issue (as described in the original post) is know and it’s already in our task list.
  2. Once the fix is released, we will update this topic, so you will be notified. We do this for all forum topics that are marked as WIP.

Best regards,
Matej
