WIP: Two issue in text link element

Browser: Chrome 125
OS: Windows

1- If we use the text link in the nav nestable element, if we set its icon size to more than 15Px, an empty space will be created at the bottom of it. This problem is caught when we set the background color for the nav nestable top level.

2- Copy and paste style between text link elements also transfers the icon

Hi @HOSEIN,

Let’s review both of them:

#1: I can’t reproduce it in a way that you have it. Can you maybe record a video, so I can see what values and what layout your have?

#2: I can’t reproduce this either, but I think this one might already be fixed since we redid copy-paste. Or you can still reproduce it?

Thanks,
Matej

Hi @Matej,

1- I can’t also reproduce the first one either, because it seems that in recent versions, the link text element in the nav nestable doesn’t have the default blue borders if it’s enabled. Also, if we click on them directly in the canvas, they don’t get selected. Instead, the nav items get selected.

2- This still exists. I’ve checked both in beta 1.12.

Thank you @HOSEIN,

I was able to replicate both issues now and I’ve added it to the bug tracker.

#1: You are right, we can not select Text Link on the canvas, if it’s inside nav nestable.
#2: Yep, the way you do it, I can replicate it. When I was testing, I didn’t check the fronted, an I though that the icon does not change, since it does not change on the canvas, unless we refresh it

Thank you!
Matej

Thank you Matej,

You’re right, I forgot to mention at first that the icon changes on the frontend.

Thank you for taking the time to review this report😊
