I was doing some testing of v2.0-beta and I found that if adding the Upsell/Cross-sell products to a single product template, if some of the Upsell/Cross-sell products set for a product are the single variant type that shows the dash + variant name, the feature image does not show. The feature image shows fine for those types with the Upsell/Cross-sell element, but not in a loop.
Wath the video. Note that the image in the video are placeholder images, so it is normal for those to show. The ones that don’t show have the blue “Dynamic Data is Empty” warning and they don’t show on the frontend.
Workaround: It requires a product variation image to be uploaded now.
It would be exhausing to upload the feaure image for each variation just to show the same image. The Upsell/Cross-sell element shows the feature image without uploading a variation image.
