I created a component (product card for woo) with one property (query loop). Then I add it inside an archive (ex. product category) as main query, the ‘posts per page’ setting are ignored (I got 16 items instead of 9).

Just to add to this @Matej:
The query_results_count seems to always = 0 when used in a main query.
I wasn’t sure if it was a bug or because I use components within the main query loops.
