WIP: Nested accordian FAQ Schema not working (v2.4.2)

When adding the Accordion (Nestable) element and selecting FAQ schema, no schema is visibile inside page source. Works properly when using the Accodion element though.

FYI, also note that below the FAQ schema setting, you have this info link “Generate FAQPage structured data (JSON-LD)”. linking to Latest Google Search Documentation Updates | Google Search Central  |  What's new  |  Google for Developers and it’s being redirected to Latest Google Search Documentation Updates | Google Search Central  |  What's new  |  Google for Developers (it’s deprecated since May 2026, FAQ rich result feature is no longer shown in Google Search results).

Hey @xamax,

Thanks for reporting both points. I couldn’t reproduce the missing FAQ schema locally. Could you check whether your accordion titles use a heading tag (h1–h6)? If they already do, please share the affected page URL and an export of the accordion so we can inspect the same setup.

You’re also correct about the documentation link. Google has discontinued FAQ rich results, but FAQPage remains a Schema.org type. The help link is outdated and we will update it.

Accordion (Nestable) uses a heading inside each title wrapper to identify the question.

Select the Basic Text element containing your question, set HTML tag → Custom, and enter an appropriate heading tag, such as h3. Repeat this for each question, keeping FAQ schema enabled on the accordion.

Now the Schema is available.
