The arrows for the Nestable Slider element do not change when set to a different asset from the media library or even one of the default items.
After updating Bricks to the latest version, no changes have been able to change the arrow appearance.

Thanks so much for your report!
That’s a known issue with mobile first. Please add the icons to the desktop breakpoint, and it should work as expected.
We’ll update this thread once it’s fixed.

It’s June 2026 now, and the bug is still there. I spent two hours yesterday trying to change icons (or use custom ones). It’s a good thing I found this forum post today!
Yes, unfortunately, it hasn’t been resolved yet 
… but the workaround is still valid and very simple
