WIP: HappyFiles Element

Hi!
I tried to display images using the HappyFiles element, but I noticed something was not doing good with the responsiveness. By default, the number of columns is “3”. However, I wanted it to be 1 column on mobile view. When I changed it to “1”, it applied to all breakpoints.

Another suggestion I have for HappyFiles is that I wished to choose title or Alt from the images instead of caption only when I enabled the caption.

One last thing, there is no setting for overlay effect for the thumbnail.

It would be good if you could add this overlay effect for the thumbnail(for gallery & HappyFiles gallery element)

True, the number of columns should be changeable between breakpoints. I’ve added this to our todos.

For what reason?

So far this kind of effect doesn’t exist, right. Sounds very much like a good request for the Idea Board :slight_smile:

@timmse It means we can choose to display the text from the alt text or title of the images too. When uploading images, we won’t insert the text for caption for most of the time.

But if you know that your pictures should have a caption, you will enter one, won’t you?

The three fields all have a different purpose. There are plugins with which you can synchronize the contents of the fields so that all three have the same content if you like.
