Browser: Chrome 110 OS: macOS / Windows / Linux / etc. Environment:
WordPress version: 6.8.3
Bricks version: 2.0.2
Theme: Bricks (active)
Editor: WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg)
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a new page using the WordPress Block Editor.
Add some blocks and publish/update the page.
View the page on the frontend.
Observed Behavior (Part 1):
By default, the page shows as Rendered with Bricks, even though it was created in Gutenberg.
To view the correct Gutenberg layout, the admin bar toggle needs to be switched manually to Rendered with WordPress.
Observed Behavior (Part 2):
After switching to Rendered with WordPress, the page displays correctly.
If you then switch back to Render with Bricks (just to test), and afterwards switch again to Rendered with WordPress, the Gutenberg layout does not return as expected.
Clearing cache or re-saving sometimes doesn’t resolve it.
Thanks for confirming and noting this in your internal bug tracker. Do you have a tentative timeline or release version in which this fix might be included? It would help me plan my workflow accordingly.
