WIP: Exposed HTML in Ninja Forms

Browser: Chrome Version 127.0.6533.89 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OS: Windows 10
URL: May 18th Finger Weaving Craft Class with Kathy Kirchoff – Colorado Cherokee Circle

HTML not exposed

html is exposed in Ninja forms embedded in blog posts (see RSVP form at the bottom of the page linked above).

This only happens if the Ninja form is embedded into a blog post. Notice that the form on the contact page (Contact the CoCC Council – Colorado Cherokee Circle) is error-free.

The exposed html disappears when Bricks is disabled. I’ve reached out to Ninja forms’ tech support and they advised me to contact Bricks since the error only appears when Bricks is enabled.

Hi Sylvia,
Welcome to the forum and thanks so much for your report!

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the issue using Ninja Forms’ free version.

Please send temporary login credentials and a link to this thread to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase.

Best regards,
timmse

OK, I’ve sent email with the requested info.

Hi @spoiledrottengoat,

Thank you for being so patient,

After further investigation, we haven’t been able to reproduce the problem without Ninja Forms, specifically by passing a form with an asterisk in WordPress content. Due to the specific nature of this issue, we’ve added it to our to-do list to reach out to Ninja Forms directly.

We suspect there might be an inconsistency in how the content is being escaped, but without reliably replicating it, it’s tough to pinpoint the exact cause or provide a definitive fix right now.

If you notice any patterns or have more information that could help us reproduce the issue without Ninja Forms active, please let us know.
