The exposed html disappears when Bricks is disabled. I’ve reached out to Ninja forms’ tech support and they advised me to contact Bricks since the error only appears when Bricks is enabled.
After further investigation, we haven’t been able to reproduce the problem without Ninja Forms, specifically by passing a form with an asterisk in WordPress content. Due to the specific nature of this issue, we’ve added it to our to-do list to reach out to Ninja Forms directly.
We suspect there might be an inconsistency in how the content is being escaped, but without reliably replicating it, it’s tough to pinpoint the exact cause or provide a definitive fix right now.
If you notice any patterns or have more information that could help us reproduce the issue without Ninja Forms active, please let us know.
