WIP: Component property creation: Image field must be created and assigned before setting default image

Within a component, if you create a property for an image field, trying to select a default image using the new browser, exits the property creation.

To reproduce:
Edit a component with an image
Create a new property linking to the image
In the property attempt to set a default image, when you select an image from the new browser it will close the property creation and you have to start again.

Workaround:
Create an empty image property field attached to the image
Edit the property and then set a default image

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the report.

We were able to reproduce this in Bricks 2.4.2. Your workaround works: create and connect the image property first, then edit it to set the default image.

We’ll update this thread once it’s fixed :v:
