WIP: 1.11.0 Beta: Context menu (Right Click) Issue in FireFox

Browser: Firefox 130.0.1 (64-bit)
OS: macOS 15.0.1.

In the new Bricks Builder Beta version 1.11.0
In Firefox browser (including Firefox Developer Edition).
If in Bricks Editor, when I Right Click on Elements in the Design Area or Elements in Structure Panel, the “Paste” Popup will appear on the Context menu.

If in Firefox browser I “Copy” any text, this issue will no longer exist.

Hi @datgausaigon,

thank you for getting in touch about this.

Yep, I can reproduce it on my install and I’ll create a task for this. Can you just check which Firefox version you have installed?

Thank you,
Matej

Hi @Matej
I use latest Firefox version:
Firefox: 131.0 (64-bit)
Firefox Developer Edition: 132.0b3 (64-bit)
Thanks

Thanks. Then it’s the same as me.

I will update this topic as soon as we release the fix.

Hi @Matej ,
This issue is still in Bricks 1.11.0 Stable.
Thanks
:bear:

That’s right, it was not fixed for the stable release :frowning:

@Matej
Thanks for your reply.
It’s just a tiny issue, not a big priority. Don’t worry, have fun!
Thanks

I am having this issue with Bricks 1.12.4 and Firefox 138.0.3.

As a workaround, yu can go to about:config, and set dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard to “true”. You will not recieve the popup anymore.

But, now all the websites will be able to read your clipboard data, so keep this in mind.

Best regards,
Matej
