Will there be a new phase for WooCommerce?

Hi bricks team,

Like many other Bricks users, I come from Elementor. bricks is truly unique and unrivaled in every way. But honestly, bricks still needs improvement for a WooCommerce website.
Of course, this does not mean that you are weak, dear developers of bricks. Because with every new update you introduce many great features. Like the new Query Loop features for WooCommerce in version 1.10.
You also have some cool WooCommerce features in the ideas section. But anyway, I have dreams of building a fully professional store website using Bricks. In the following, I will try to mention all of them. I hope other users will participate in this topic and of course I hope the bricks team will see this topic…

  1. color swatches : Currently, if the products are variable, the variable selection section on the bricks products page has a very poor UI. It would be great to be able to display variables as buttons, colors and dropdowns. + Ability to display product colors in query loop.
  2. full Edit WooCommerce checkout fields : Full control over checkout fields like the form element would be great.
  3. Discount coupon element for checkout page :
  4. New DD Tags to display the remaining time of product discounts in the countdown element
  5. add/remove to wishlist element + new query to display products added to wishlist.
  6. Element to add/remove products to compare list + query to display products added to compare.
  7. recently viewed product query for query Loop
  8. More customization options for the add to cart element : Border, background color and custom icon for + and - buttons.
  9. Ability to display Woo notice in popup.

Maybe you agree with some of these things, maybe not. Of course, I also think that maybe items 5 and 6 are not as important as the others. But anyway, I wanted to mention them and I hope the bricks team has a new phase in mind for WooCommerce.

thanks

Yes, Woocommerce is deeply neglected. Luckily there is Funnelkit that solves some of the cart and checkout issues. However at this point Bricks is not a good choice for developing large inventory shops.

Unfortunately, it is the same. But considering that Bricks is weak in WooCommerce, its current WooCommerce features are even stronger than Elementor and other plugins such as Jet Woobuilder.
I am looking forward to a big WooCommerce update to move my store websites to bricks. bricks is really wonderful.

I use Bricks on all my stores. However now I am planning to do a large inventory pharmacy and I’d rather go with a theme + elementor than Bricks. And I’m a hardcore Bricks fan.

Hi @Adrenaline22

I plan to create a WooCommerce plugin for Bricks, can you tell me exactly (make a list) which functions / features you are missing, because we can take these points into account if necessary?

Many thanks in advance!
