Why does my blog template apply on my staging site, but not my live site?

Hi,

I got the exact same blog post template with the exact same conditions on my staging site and my live site. On the staging site my blog posts render as they should (dark overlay on background picture and serif type heading):

But on my live site it renders with what looks like some Wordpress default including meta information:

I’m sure the answer is pretty straight forward, but after spending hours, I just can’t find it. So I hope someone here would be so kind as to help me out.

Thanks!

Hey @EoE!
Maybe the Caching plugin causing the issue.
Have you tried disabling it?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I’m using Litespeed along with QUIC.cloud CDN and tried deactivating them, it makes no difference. It seems that standard Wordpress settings are overriding Bricks and the template.

It looks like it renders the default bricks post template in your live site. Could you show me what Template Type you selected and your Template Conditions on the live site?

Yes, it seems to render a default post template - not sure if it’s Bricks’ or Wordpress’, though.

I checked, checked, and tripple-checked the template type and the conditions. Every thing is as it should be.

Hi Holger,
Thanks for the login credentials!

The template was not published, but on “draft”. As soon as it’s published, it should work as expected: Hvad var det nu lige, der var galt med YouTube? - Wilcks.dk

What? … No?!

I am an idiot, and you, sir, are a gentleman for not saying so. Your help is very much appreciated, but I am sorry to have wasted your time with such a human error. Your help is very much appreciated.

Kind regards;

EoE

No problem  However, I would not have expected this (simple) cause, but rather a wrong condition or a wrong template type :joy:
