What is the correct way to configure a Blog Post Archive in Bricks? Because generating an Archive and setting it on Conditional > Archive > Post Archive won’t work.
Should i create the archive on Blog Page on Pages, and then other Archive’s CPTs using the conditionals?
Here is my setting
My template was designed for Categories, Tags and Authors. You may ignore Author and Tags if your template is just for category terms.
P/S: You don’t need to create a page for the archive.
I would suggest removing the rewrite from jet engine, since you’ve already got the slug there in the native permalinks - no rewrite should be needed. My guess (and it’s only a guess), is that that’ causing a conflict
I am facing the same issue, but this time with Metabox, Unable to render the desired archive template on the archive pages. Appreciate your help in this regard. I followed the above discussion & set the conditions without any luck
I’m having the same issue, and I’m not sure why the default Post type just won’t apply, even though I’ve set everything correctly in both the template and the conditions.
The workaround is to create a new page and design your own archive page. Once you’re done, save and publish it, and make sure the slug matches your permalink structure Settings > Permalinks > Custom Structure.
For example: /inspirations/%postname%.
Next, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings, and under Posts Page, select the page you just created. After that, your custom archive page for the default Post type should display correctly.
