Before I start defining all my Metabox CPTs and taxonomies, I am trying to determine whether I should use a plain taxonomy field or taxonomy advanced field in CPTs. I see the difference in how each stores term data, but I’m struggling to visualise how in Bricks the term IDs stored by taxonomy advanced might be used in a query.
Could someone give me an example of a query that would use taxonomy IDs instead of taxonomy terms?
My site would have a number of CPTs that all share the same taxonomy so that on a post I can display post data from other CPTs that have the same taxonomy terms. I’m pretty sure a plain taxonomy field would suffice but it would be good to understand any additional benefits the advanced field would bring.
