WAIT: WPML Translation Bug: Footer Conditions Reverting to Default Language

Hi everyone,

I’ve set up multiple footers on my website that should appear differently depending on the page conditions. However, I’ve encountered an issue: the conditions for the footers are not being translated correctly.

When I translate the footer templates in WPML, the conditions remain in the default language. I can manually change the conditions in the Bricks Editor so they work in the desired language, but any changes I make to the footer template revert the conditions back to the default language.

Has anyone experienced this issue or know of a solution to ensure that the conditions remain correctly translated even after making changes to the footer?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi there,

Could you please test if it fixed in 1.9.9 beta?

We tackled the multilanguage template issue in 1.9.9 beta

The problem still exists with version 1.9.9 beta. However, I found a solution by simply including all languages in the conditions.

For your information: I noticed the same problem with internal links. They were also always reset to the default language. The solution was to use an external link.
