WAIT: Wordpress: Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Issue

Hi,
One of my sites I am managing has just reported an issue.
I myself do not know what it means. But I thought I should let someone know!
Might be a bug. The site does still work though!
Thanks.
Steven

Howdy!

WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Bricks.

First, visit your website (https://circularmedia.nl/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://circularmedia.nl/wp-admin/post.php?post=150&action=edit&editor_mode=wordpress&_bricksmode=fe0019c6d9) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you canā€™t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special ā€œrecovery modeā€. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Donā€™t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
WordPress version 6.4.1
Active theme: Bricks Child Theme (version 1.1)
Current plugin: (version )
PHP version 7.4.33

Error Details

An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 130 of the file /home/circularmedia/domains/circularmedia.nl/public_html/wp-content/themes/bricks/includes/elements.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required ā€˜/home/circularmedia/domains/circularmedia.nl/public_html/wp-content/themes/bricks/includes/elements/shortcode.phpā€™ (include_path=ā€˜.:/opt/alt/php74/usr/share/pearā€™)

Hi @TCL,

Can you please try reinstalling the theme? looks like thereā€™s an issue with the file shortcode.php under includes > elements. Either the file was removed or there might be issues with file permissions on your server setup which disallows accessing the file.
