The problem is quite complex, but I’ll try to describe it in detail.
Basically, the ajax product filter seems good. When I filter on an attribute, it nicely removes those from the selectable list that are not contained in any product.
However, after product filtering, I refresh the page, then the filtered products disappear.
If I remove one of the active filters in the product filter (checkbox turn off), then the possible list does not expand again, neither in the product filter nor in the listed products.
It does not work with woocommerce product categories in any way. If I open a product category, then the filter no longer works properly. It does not remove from the selectable list those attributes that are not present. It only works as long as I start the filtering via the shop root link.
I list the product category as a filter and turn on “hide empty” then the main and subcategories are completely collapsed visually.
If a product is only in a subcategory, then in the filter the main category behaves as if it were empty, i.e. it cannot be filtered.
Sorting by price (from - to) does not work with the price filter. It does not sort the listed products.
ok, I see the problem in your video. What I would suggest you try first is to disable all plugins, and only keep Bricks active (And WooCommerce). Make sure to also clear/disable all caching.
it’s quite difficult to follow videos without voice, but there is one thing that you could maybe try, and that is to disable query merge. On your query element, can you enable the “Disable query merge” control?
Disable query merge is turned on! So its not problem.
Just an idea, maybe can make this problem, that the product card in query loop is component?
Unfortunately, I don’t have the capacity to completely rebuild the product card from scratch right now, but I can’t think of anything else that could be a “special” environment or setting.
I know it’s hard to follow the video without sound, but my spoken English is even worse than my written one. In my original post I tried to describe what the problem was. The second round video is basically the same as the first. I’m trying to show that by disabling the plugins all the original problems remained, nothing changed.
Shouldn’t be. You can try to unlink it, but I don’t think this should be the reason.
Ah, understandable then.
Ok, here is what I suggest: can you send temporary login credentials to your test/staging website and a link to this topic to help@bricksbuilder.io using the email address you used during the purchase, so we can take a look?
Then I’ll try to replicate each of your issues that you have and see what is wrong.
