If you make background images in webp format, it is not displayed on mobile phones.
When you set a link for icons, the size and color do not change. In general, it stops responding to any changes, you remove the link and everything returns to normal.

Can you provide a link so that I can verify the problem? In my test environment, I can’t reproduce it using EWWW Image Optimizer for webp.
Which plugin do you use for the webp images?
Possibly there can be problems with background-images, so for example EWWW provides two options in this regard that can help. However, in my case, it is not necessary to activate them.
