WAIT: Unable to Edit Bricks Templates in Second Language with WPML Domain Setting

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is a bug or a configuration issue, but I’m unable to edit templates in the secondary language when “A different domain per language” is enabled in WPML.

When I click the “Edit with Bricks” icon for a template in the secondary language, I get redirected to the homepage of that language instead of the Bricks editor. As a result, I can’t make any changes to the translated template.

Is there a setting I’m missing, or a workaround for this issue?

Thanks,
Richard

Hi @Richard,

Have you followed this guide from WPML for your setup?: How to use WPML with different domains per language - WPML

One key step to keep in mind is enabling the “Auto sign-in from all domains” option.

Hi @charaf,

Yes, I followed the guide and enabled that option. However, the issue appears to have resolved itself or was fixed in the recent Bricks update. Either way, the Bricks template editor now opens in my second language.

Thanks,
Richard

I spoke too soon, the same issue appears again. It seems to happen inconsistently.

When I log out and back in at site it works, at least for a little while.

If it works for a while, could the issue be caused by some caching plugin?

I’m not using a caching plugin.

So far the editor still opens for the second language, I’ll report back if/when it fails again.
