WAIT: Unable to access Bricks builder on 1 of 2 pages in the site

I posted this in a different post yesterday, but as the problem is still there, I move it to a new post.

When I try to access one of the two pages (Logg inn) in my site using the Bricks builder, I’m redirected to the dashboard. However, there’s no problem when accessing the other page (Home) in the site with Bricks builder.

I can also access the Logg inn page with the Gutenberg Block editor.

Possible error? I just copied the structure from the Home page into the Logg inn page (that I’m no longer able to access with Bricks). I’ve logged out and back in to Wordpress, disabled the LiteSpeed cache, and deactivated and activated Bricks, but the issue persists.

Yesterday, I encountered a different issue with Bricks. The changes I made and saved in the Bricks builder did not appear on the published site for several hours. I cleared the browser cache and tried using incognito mode. After disabling and reactivating Bricks (version 1.11.1.1), it started working again.

Hello @Christoffer,

that is weird . So, you were able to normally open the Log in page, then you copy-pasted the structure from “Home” page to the Log in page, saved, and now you can’t open the page anymore?

Do you see any errors in the console? Maybe in debug.log? Can you try to disable all plugins, just to make sure?

Matej

Hi Matej, thanks for your reply.

EDIT: Ok, think i’m on to something. I made a new page, copied the content from the home page, but this time I did not copy the sing-in shortcode into the richtext element, but the shortcode element. I then got this message:

Looks like the Booknetic signin module is doing the redirecting! Is there a solution to this?

Post before edit:
I deleted the “Logg inn” page and made a new page (Login). I was able to reproduce the error. I use shortcodes from the Booknetic booking plugin. I allready us the shortcode on the Home page for the booking main panel [booknetic theme=9].

When I copy the structure from the Home page into the new Login page it works just fine. But when I change the shortcode from [booknetic theme=9] to [booknetic-signin], and then leave the Login page, I’m not able to get in to the page again from the Bricks builder.

Note: I use the “shortecode in rich text element” trick to center the panel horizontaly.

The [booknetic-signin] shortcode works fine in Gutenberg. It seems to be something with signin shortcode that do not work with Bricks builder?

Hey @Christoffer,

so, it looks like it works in Shortcode elements, right? Then it’s best to use it, as it’s intended for things like this.

I’m not exactly sure how you want to style it, but it should be possible even with a shortcode element  Let me know if you need help with that.

Matej

Hi again Matej

The shortcode works with both Rich text and Shortcode, but in the Shortcode block I got the “Your already signed in, you are being redirected” message.

So, basically I cant edit the page in Bricks builder after the signin shortcode is added, as the sign-in module automatically redirects me out of Bricks when I’m logged into Wordpress. Bit of a catch-22 :stuck_out_tongue:

I have contacted Booknetic support to check if its possible to turn of the redirect function in the signin module, but is it possible to ignore redirects in Bricks builder?

Yeah, I get that. I thought that with Shortcode was working, but not in rich text. Anyway, let me know what they respond - maybe there is an option in shortcode. But there is no way to ignore redirects in Bricks.
