I keep encountering the following bugs when creating components — unfortunately, I can’t capture these on video because I never know when they’ll happen, but it’s frequent enough to be a serious bottleneck for me in the build process.
— My custom CSS within the components get deleted, and then will reappear at a later point when I’m editing them.
— My component properties and their groups get deleted. I just see a blank panel — but when I click into the elements inside the component, I can see they’re still attached to these ‘ghost’ component properties.
Has anyone else experienced these issues and is there a workaround?
this is weird issue, and I never experienced it and I have no idea how to replicate it. Maybe you have two browsers/tabs open and you somehow override it with older version?
Yes, very strange! I don’t know what’s causing it, it’s not a two browser issue. I’ve learned the only solution when it happens is to delete the component and start afresh. It’s almost as if some components get ‘corrupted’ in the creation process — then the only solution is to bin and start again.
If I encounter the issue or discover why it’s happening I’ll post here in the future. Or, I’ll leave the component as an example and perhaps support can dip in and play around.
