WAIT: Saving of Pages in Bricks Editor Taking 40+ Seconds

Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari – Replicated across multiple browsers
OS: macOS / Windows - Replicated across multiple devices
URL: Backend admin area - Bricks Editor
Video: Just the standard Bricks saving process. Nothing visibly different.

For some reason, the saving of pages and templates within Bricks Editor is taking a prolonged period of time.

This occurs even with a brand new page created that has no content on it.

I believe I have narrowed the problem down to Automatic CSS (ACSS) version 3.0.13 being installed and activated. With that plugin disabled the saving process returns to being 2-3 seconds.

I’ve even deactivated, uninstalled, and reinstalled the plugin with no change or improvement.

My site is currently hosted on Rocket.net and I have ensured more than the recommended limits have been allocated for the site…

I’m just wondering if anyone has a suggestions for how to identify what is causing the significant saving delay issue?

I’ve had these issues in the past and had to disable ModSecurity.

Without concrete server logs, it is impossible to say what is causing the problem. However, the hint from @aljazbz could be a reason, see: Known issues – Bricks Academy
