WAIT: Remote Component Import fails – "The remote component package checksum is invalid"

Browser: Chrome 153
OS: macOS
URL: internal

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to import a Component from a source site into a destination site via Remote Components. Both sites have Bricks 2.4, and I’ve granted the necessary access on both source and destination (Templates & Components settings).

When I select a component from the source library and try to import it, I get the following error:

“The remote component package checksum is invalid”

I’ve already tried:

  • Clearing all caches (page/object/CDN) on both sites
  • Disabling caching/minification plugins temporarily
  • Re-adding the remote library connection on the destination site
  • Refreshing the component catalog before importing

The error persists. Has anyone else run into this, or is this a known bug? Happy to provide more details (versions, plugin list, etc.) if needed.

Thanks!

Hello @MyWiKa,

thanks for the details and for listing what you’ve already tried. Does this also happen with a newly created component containing only a basic Heading element, or only with the original component, because I was unable to replicate it locally?

Please send an export of an affected component and confirm the exact Bricks version on each site. If the export contains private content, email it to help@bricksbuilder.io and include a link to this thread.

Thank you,
Matej
