WAIT: Query Loop not rendering in template

Browser: Vivaldi / Chrome 110
OS: macOS / Windows / Linux / etc.

I am currently using Bricks 2.1.4 with ACPT v2.0.53. I am attempting to use a template for a custom post type. While building out, I noticed that when I use the query loop to loop through a repeater field, the loop does not update in the builder (see image below).

If you attempt to review the template with a post applied in the preview and look on the frontend, you do not see the query loop.

However, if you view a post of that custom post type by clicking ‘View’ in the post table to see the post with the template applied, the query loop IS rendering.

It seems the query loop does not render only in the builder or when reviewing the template on the frontend (with a post applied as the preview), but does work as expected on the specific post with the template applied. It also shows that the only items affected are repeater fields. The text “Efficient house cleanouts to reclaim your space quickly” is a dynamic data field in ACPT, which renders fine.

A few things to note:

  • I tried to render a query loop of posts of a different post types, native and custom, and the query loop does render.
  • I have disabled and re-enabled “Render dynamic data text on canvas”
  • I have regenerate key signatures, regenerated CSS
  • I have updated all my plugins and themes
  • I have tried refreshing, closing and re-opening the template
  • I have tried different browsers

Hi @HyperHunter ,

Please may I know if you have set an actual “Post” in the Populate Content setting?

Otherwise, Bricks doesn’t know which post to use as the preview in the builder.

Regards,
Jenn

Hey @itchycode ,

Here is the conditions set.

Below is a screenshot showing the preview is set. The page that is set is of type ‘Services’

Hi @HyperHunter ,

Your setup looks good.
If in this case, can you try to check with ACPT support first, since it’s just happening on the ACPT repeater field?
For your information, the ACPT integration was implemented by the ACPT team.

Regards,
Jenn
