WAIT: Product Review Element only displays oldest reviews first

The product review element doesn’t have nearly enough controls. After searching this forum I finally found out that the settings for how many reviews are displayed are in WordPress Settings > Discussion

There you can set the number of reviews per page and whether it starts on the first page or last page. The next option gives a choice between displaying the oldest or newset ones first. Regardless of whether you select oldest or newest, the oldest are always displayed first.

Unfortunately, that’s how the WooCommerce reviews pagination works. You’ll get the same behavior if you briefly change to a different theme, such as Storefront or 2024. Therefore, it’s not a bug.

The last page contains the newest reviews, the first page the oldest, so this should be the correct setting:
