I noticed the phone number field is missing from the WooCommerce checkout fields. The customer’s billing details especially.

Are you referring to the default checkout template or to a custom checkout template using the checkout customer details element? With the latter, you can add or remove fields.
For me, the phone field is visible by default in both cases.
I designed a checkout template but the phone number is missing.
I went to “Appearance>Customize>WooCommerce” to set the phone number as required too, but no good came out.

Can you check if any other WooCommerce plugin modified the checkout fields?
Alternatively, you could try to deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce, and check if the phone number field still missing.

That’s not the issue.
You can’t even see the phone number to remove. See this list of what you can hide from billing or shipping detail; even the email field is there to hide or leave.

Hi @abey ,
The phone/email field in your Checkout Customer Details element missing could be caused by other plugins.
As you can see, a default installation should be able to see these fields.
Could you check if any other WooCommerce plugin or custom code causes the problem?
Alternatively, please provide a temp admin access to your website and send it to help@bricksbuilder.io.
